Location: Adea Inc. – Irving, Texas
Duties: Plan, direct or coordinate activities in such fields as electronic data processing, information systems analysis, and computer programming. Analyze workflow and assign or schedule work to meet priorities or goals. Approve, prepare, monitor and adjust operational budget. Develop and interpret organizational goals, policies, and procedures and review project plans. Direct the design of high level and low level architecture of the applications. Direct the design and development of core components such as business logic components, database components and web services. Resolve complex issues during development and implementation phase. Develop performance standards and evaluate work in light of established standards. Direct daily operation of department and coordinate project activities with other departments. Direct training of subordinates. Evaluate data processing project proposals and assess project feasibility. Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors and others to solicit cooperation and resolve problems. Participate in staffing decisions. Prepare and review operational reports or project progress reports.
Requirements: Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or Information Systems or related field and one (1) year of experience in job offered or one (1) year of experience as Project Director or Technical Lead or Manager. Will also accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or Information Systems or related field and five years of progressive work experience in software development for business applications. Experience must include: ASP.Net, SQL Server, Ajax, Jscript and GUI design.
